Ngoma
Cylindro-conical shaped wooden drum with shaved skin membranes attached onto the body with leather lacing, usually from the same skin. In these drums, only the top large membrane is played, which in this example is more evident as the bottom of the body is roughly shaped. As usual too, the drum has pellets inside for rattling effects.
