This is a spike-bowl fiddle, whose resonator is made of a coconut shell covered with skin. The neck is made of dark-stained bamboo cane and it has accommodation for two pegs, now missing. The bridge, that would probably be a tightly-rolled cloth, is also missing. There are no strings. The instrument is accompanied by a bow made of vine with dark hair.
