Carillon clockwork and playing drum
The abbey of Ename installed a carillon in 1660 in a new-built tower. - The 3D model has been created in Blender based on multiple images from 17th-century carillons, combined with the expert input of Luc Rombouts (University of Leuven). This model has been integrated into an interactive virtual world, based on the Unity3D platform, depicting the abbey village of Ename, in the year 1665.
