An Archaeological Desk-Based Assessment of Land off Prebend Lane, Welton, Lincolnshire

The desk based assessment identified numerous sites of archaeological interest in the parish and village of Welton. These included possible Roman and Iron Age settlements and an Anglo-Saxon cemetery, possibly with associated settlement. No finds were reported from the development site however, and the geophysical survey failed to identify any features. [Au]
