Medieval inscribed bronze situla
The drawing shows a vessel of cast bronze or bell metal in the form of a bucket or situla for holy water. It has three legs and a handle. The sides have three plaques depicting figures of an angel, a standing figure, and a seated figure with a horn. Two of the figures form an Annunciation scene.
