Roma children from Orpington

Romani children from Orpington, Kent were entertained at a party in the Village Hall at nearby St. Mary's Cray. The party was funded by local charitable concerns, nearly 200 turned up from miles over the district. This Photo shows: A section of the boys cheering for more tea, and note the paper bags almost hidden - they contain leftovers and extras to be taken away. 23 January 1939
