Earthenware bowl, decorated with cut out shapes outlined in yellow slip and with the name 'Sarah' in yellow dots on the rim. This is one of three pots owned by the Savoury family who lived at 7 Smiths Row, Castleford. Sarah was the mother of the family. It is said to have been made by Clokie and Co.
