Earring made from the beak of a helmeted hornbill
This pendant is made from the beak of a helmeted hornbill, the so-called anggang gading. The front part of the knobbly 'helmet' is, like the beak, sand-coloured and the back part is red. This piece was cut in such a way that a pendant arose with a red band on the side and a sand-coloured top. A hook was cut out of the tip to make an earring.
