Gold bracelet worn by the bride
The bracelet forms part of a Minangkabau bridal costume. Sometimes these bracelets were so heavy that a special table was carried along, on which the bride could rest her arm.‖ The top of the bracelet is inlaid with real or false rubies, possibly in imitation of enamel.
