Openwork bracelet
The Oba and Chiefs of Benin wear a set of crafted bracelets during ceremonies and palace celebrations. They are worn around the wrists. The ivory versions are exclusively for the Oba. The Chiefs wear brass ones, which were cast or driven from brass-can.\Description: bracelet with openwork diamond motif, interrupted in the middle by a band of large spirals. Raised edges at both ends.
