Never Too Old To Learn
Melanie Welter, from Leverkusen, couldn't read or write properly until she was 17 years old. She's one of seven million people in Germany who are functionally illiterate. But she joined a special education program, learned to read and write -- and now, at the age of 20, she's signed up for vocational training.
