Pforzheim: The forgotten Dresden
70 years ago on February 23 1945, the German city of Pforzheim was annihilated by 1500 tons of bombs dropped by the British Air Force. Pforzheim is not a name that springs to mind when it comes to German cities that were destroyed in the months leading up to the Nazis' surrender. Helen Seeney was joined by DW's Gabriel Borrud who was in Pforzheim for a remembrance vigil.
