Marseille - European Capital of Culture 2013

Entitled\ "Marseille-Provence\," the port city in southern France is together with 80 other cities of Provence Cultural Capital 2013. From 1985, the European Union awarded the title to more than 40 Community cities. Since 1999, several cities from different EU countries have also been selected - for one year at a time. in 2013 it is the Slovak city of Kosice and Marseille.
