SITGES: 4D- SONOGRAMS TO DETECT MATERNAL-FETAL DISEASES
SERIES TITLE: MIDDAY NEWS
Sitges – A 4D-sonogram was presented at the 19th International Congress of the Society, “The Fetus as a Patient.” This diagnostic technique that is still in experimental stages allows the fetus to be viewed in three dimensions and in movement. Using ultrasound technology, doctors can follow the fetus’ growth in great detail and more easily detect possible diseases or physical malformations.
