The Bards of Wales
SERIES TITLE: Absolute London: London 2012 Festival
In the National Eisteddfod, one of Wales’ most vibrant and popular cultural festivals the Hungarian poet János Arany (1817-82)’ poem The Bards of Wales (1857) was also performed, the words were translated into Welsh and set to music by Karl Jenkins.
