Gothic-style Basilica of Pannonhalma
SERIES TITLE: Churches from the Árpád Age
The Gothic-style, three-nave basilica, consacreted in 1224, and its sanctuary with stellar-ribbed vault are still stand. Underneath the sanctuary there is the abbey's oldest preserved part, a crypt in the late Romanesque and early Gothic style. The Baroque core of the building was established in the 1720s.
