Board, sleeve, ironing
This is a heavy metal stand with a pedestal onto which the boards fit. There are two sizes of board; the wooden boards are covered with felt. The small board has another cover of cotton cloth. There is also an inscription: ' T. BRADFORD AND CO. LTD.// LAUNDRY ENGINEERS// MANCHESTER AND LONDON'. The board was used when ironing shirt sleeves.
