A Spanish marriage
In 1991, I lived in Spain. My parents were German and Swedish and I grew up in Germany. At that time, Spain was not yet a full member of the EU. To being able to stay, I decided to marry my Spanish boyfriend of that time. Otherwise we couldn't have stayed together in Spain. The residency card that I contribute shows how much more difficult it was two decades ago to move around in Europe.
