My Tyrolean great grandmother in exile in Moravia

At the beginning of the 20th century, my mother's side ancestors lived in the village of Lusern (Loserna, now Italy) on the southern border of the Austrian empire.

When war broke out between Austria and Italy in 1914 that border became the frontline. All the inhabitants were evacuated.

My family was sent to Moravia. After the war, they never returned to their home village but moved to the area…
