My Grandmother's Carpet
This carpet was made by my grandmother in the winter. She had her own loom in her home in Vutcani in Romania. The wool was made from my grandfather's sheep. He had over 100 sheep. The women of the village came together with their craft to talk and share stories. The craft was shared from generation to generations.
