Supporting the universal game
I was born in Dublin and still live in Smithfield to this day. I played mainly football all my life. My father learnt to play football from German prisoners in the Curragh during the war. He played centre back. He was a professional footballer all his life and played for Limerick. They were all part time footballers at the time.
