- Probably made for Geoffrey Plantagenet, archbisshop of York (1191-1212, inscription on July 7). - Owned by Blanche de Castille, her son king Louis IX of France (see the inscriptions on ff. 30v, 185r), Agnes of Burgundy, her daughter Jeanne de France, Jeanne's husband Philip VI and the latter's second wife Blanche de Navarre. Inherited in 1396 by her grandson Philip the Bold, his son John the Fearless, and his son Philip the Good. Since at least 1467 in the library of the Dukes of Burgundy
