Bildnis von Magdalena Kleißer geb. Fürderer

The sitter, Magdalena Kleißer, came from an old Lower Lenzkirch family of straw-hat merchants. She married Josef Kleißer, who, like her father Anton Fürderer, was an Alsace merchant supplying France and Alsace with goods. Through the marriage of her daughter Bernhardine, she became the mother-in-law of Lorenz Faller.
