Bildnis Nanna Risi
Anna Risi, called Nanna, who came from Rome, was a much sought-after model in the 19th century. Like his friend Anselm Feuerbach, Ferdinand Keller saw in Nanna the ideal of classical beauty. Keller, who lived in Rome from 1867 to 1869, stages the thirty-year-old precisely in that manner.
