Kwanum
Kwanum’s enormous size – he is known as bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara, or Guanyin – accentuates his importance. Beneath
that overwhelming and richly attired figure, the boy Sudhana appears in the corner as a small, humble supplicant. He has come to ask the god questions.
