Dancer
The pioneering American dancer Loïe Fuller was the muse of many artists in fin-de-siècle Paris. This bronze depicts Fuller performing the expressive modern dance Le jeu de l’écharpe (The scarf game). The scarf swirling over her head contains a fitting so that the bronze can be used as a lamp.
