Tree Felling V: Splitting the Logs
In this recording you can hear the wooden logs split into smaller pieces. This is being made with a hydraulic log splitter.
Log splitters are used to cut wood into smaller pieces. Traditionally the log splitting is still made with an axe by hand, but log splitters have become more common. Log splitters can be powered with electricity, petrol or gas.
