Containing, an accurate description of several halls, libraries, schools, public edifices, busts, statues, antiquities, hieroglyphics, seats, gardens, and other curiosities, omitted or misrepresented, by Wood, Hearn, Salmon, Prince, Pointer, and other eminent topographers, chronologers, antiquarians, and historians. The whole interspersed with original anecdotes, and interesting discoveries, occasionally resulting from the subject. And embellished with perspective views, elevations, &c. neatly engraved.
