Lettering: Nottingham and Grantham railway. Bridge over the river Trent at Radcliffe. The ironwork for the principal arch, 107 feet span, cast at the Stamp End Works, Lincoln, by Messrs. Clayton and Shuttleworth, and fixed by them under the superintendence of Andrew Johnston, resident engineer. Goerge Childs lith. M & N Hanhart imp.
