Conventicle "De Hoop", Diemen
After the fire of November 17th, 1990 the clandestine church De Hoop in Diemen was to be knocked down. But a group of Diemen inhabitants got the building listed. Stadsherstel Amsterdam NV bought the ruin to make it rise in all its glory. After a vast inventory and research of the building they got enthusiastic about the restoration of the exterior and interior with its beautiful Louis XVI stucco. …
