Obiectul este asemănător unui corn de vită, fiind curbat la capătul ascuțit; la capătul opus, piesa dispune de patru muchii, porțiune ce este introdusă în nicovală pentru a se putea folosi. Nu are motive ornamentale sau decorative. Culoarea este cea specifică fierului, gri închis, având și vagi urme de rugină.
