Part of a coffee and tea service
The application of enamel colours to the porcelain represented a great challenge to the Weesp porcelain factory. Only in 1764 did it gain some proficiency in this. That this process was still in its infancy is illustrated by the fact that some cups and saucers are more purple than pink.
