Concepts of death
SERIES TITLE: Global Village
While death is becoming huge business in western culture, few people are courageous enough to face it in their personal lives. Yet ancient cultures have always attempted to rationalise and accept the concept of death. This programme presents some of these attempts, through the looking glass of the faiths of the descendants of Moroccan slaves, of South-American shamans, and Hinduism.
