Dear Father,

Very many thanks for your last
letter. Wonder of wonders John Milne
has turned up to this squadron, and
I have so arranged things that he is
in my flight, ditto billet, ditto mess.
Top hole isn’t it? I have been putting
him up to the ropes all day, when
not in the air myself.
