Causes of the Vajont catastrophe

A landslide of mountains sorrounding the artificial lake of Vajont dam caused a disaster: the violent flood caused by the rock fallen into the water basin destroyed towns in the sorroundings of the dam. Longarone and Rivalta are some of those villages.
