Urn and barrow from Norfolk
The drawing shows a section across a barrow near Aylsham, with an urn placed on a sort of shelf quite high up (perhaps a secondary interment?). The urn was inverted over a slab, and contained 'a few dry bones'. In form, it has a deep flange all round, and was associated with a carinated flat dish. Its date is uncertain, possibly Iron Age.
