Skat a Traditional Card Game

In Altenburg, a town in the state of Thüringen, even children are enthusiastic about playing skat, a very traditional card game. Perhaps that's because skat was invented there two hundred years ago. Today the game is played all over Germany and in nineteen other countries. Now it's set to receive world heritage status.
