Deportation of the German population from Hungary

SERIES TITLE: Passage: People and stories in the Carpathian basin

Presents the story of how Germans living in Hungary were deported. In 1945, German youth of working age were taken to Soviet labour camps. In 1946 began the deportation of German-speaking Hungarian to Germany. Witnesses share their recollections.
