Church at Hadstock, Essex
The item consists of two sheets of paper glued together. The first sheet contains sketches of details from the church, the second contains notes about it.The sketches show the north door at St Botolph's church, Hadstock, Essex, and details of the ornamental ironwork which once attached human skin (thought to be a Dane's) to the door, recorded in 1768, but lost by 1847.
